Summary

I created the visual identity and supported the rollout of a new mobile-first intranet (“Staffroom”), creating visual assets and communication materials that helped shift internal comms from top‑down broadcasting to a more engaging, people-led experience.

Challenge

The Trust needed to replace a traditional intranet with a more engaging, accessible platform, while:

  • Encouraging staff adoption

  • Reducing reliance on email-heavy communication

  • Making content feel relevant to frontline staff

I led the redesign of the Trust’s brand, transforming an inconsistent and limited identity into a flexible, accessible system used across all communications.

Solution

I designed a clear, accessible visual identity and and supported its rollout:

  • Developed a distinct visual style aligned with the wider brand but tailored for digital engagement 

  • Designed launch campaign assets (posters, screensavers, onboarding guides, merchandise, apparel)

  • Created step-by-step activation guides for desktop and mobile users

  • Produced visual communications explaining how to use the platform including explanatory videos

Outcome

  • Supported the successful launch and onboarding of a Trust-wide intranet

  • Helped establish Staffroom as a central communication hub

  • Contributed to a platform that is continuously evolving based on staff engagement and feedback

  • Enabled a shift towards more open, collaborative and people-driven communication
