Glyde (case study)
Brand guidelines · Application concepts
Summary
I developed a bold, modern brand guidelines concept for “GLYDE”, an electric bike company targeting young urban commuters, exploring how a high-impact identity could scale across digital, product and campaign environments.
Role
Brand designer (self-initiated project). I created the visual identity system and translated it into a set of brand guidelines, demonstrating how the brand could be applied across different touchpoints.
Deliverables
Brand guidelines, logo system, typography, colour palette, visual language, and application concepts across digital and campaign formats.

Challenge
Creating a distinctive identity for a fictional mobility brand in a highly competitive, trend-driven space.
Solution
I built a flexible, high-energy visual system designed for urban environments:
-
Strong, simplified wordmark paired with a circular icon inspired by movement and motion
-
High contrast design ensuring visibility across digital and physical contexts
-
Vibrant lime green used as a signature colour to create instant recognition
-
Large-scale, experimental typography used to communicate movement and speed
-
Repetition, layering and rotation to create a dynamic, urban feel
Outcome
-
Created a cohesive brand guidelines system demonstrating how the identity works in practice
-
Established a strong, recognisable visual language aligned with a youthful, urban audience
